 Dual Gradient 5 Micron Sediment Filter
This filter features 2 separate gradient densities to created a dual stage filter with 3 times the dirt holding capacity of similarly sized sediment filters. The outer layer of the filter is rated at 50 microns whereas the inner layer filters down to a level of 5 microns. Made from 100% pure polypropylene, this filter is very resistent to bacteria and chemcials, making it a perfect choice for use on untreated water supplies (wells, lakes, etc.). Initial pressure drop of less than 1 psi at 10 GPM.

Applications:
A wide range of whole house sediment filtration tasks where high flow rates are required, and where very low pressure drop and high dirt holding capcity is desired. This filter is typically used a a 5 micron sediment pre-filter with the Trojan UVMax whole house UV sterilizer series. It is also suitable for commercial applications. This is the primary filter in our WH1B+ sediment water filter package.
